Adding the Stick to Guitar Man

I posted a “new version” of Guitar Man on Youtube today. It’s URL is

The actual song was composed more than thirty years ago, in Nigeria, and it was my response to the heartbreak one of my sons was experiencing, when a girl he truly liked rejected him in a rather heartless way. I could feel my own heartbreak on his behalf, and thus composed the song. It was released on one of my cassettes in Nigeria, but never made it into any charts. Still, it has, to me, a certain charm, and I hope it may still have that for others.
